Fractal Share, Inc. (“Fractal Share”, “we”) operates Faye, an AI real-estate analysis platform. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to fractalshare.com and the Faye application.

What we collect

Account information: your name, email address, company, and a hashed password (we never store plaintext passwords). If you sign in through an identity provider, we receive the profile fields it shares.
Billing information: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer reference, plan tier, and usage counters. Card numbers never touch our servers.
Content you provide: the questions you ask Faye, workspaces and notes you create, documents you upload for analysis, comparable selections, and generated outputs (reports, memos, briefs).
Usage data: product events (features used, query counts, latency, errors) tied to your account, used for support, reliability, and product decisions.
Property data: the real-estate records Faye analyzes come from public records and licensed data providers. They describe properties, not you.

How we use it

To operate the service: answer your questions, generate documents, maintain your workspaces.
To process your requests with AI: your questions and analysis inputs are sent to our model providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) as data processors to generate responses. We do not permit them to train their models on your data under our commercial agreements.
To bill you, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, and secure the platform.
To improve Faye, using your feedback and aggregate usage patterns.
To communicate with you about the service. Marketing email is opt-out.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your documents, questions, or analyses with other customers.
We do not use your uploaded documents to build products for anyone else.

Connected Google accounts (Gmail & Drive)

If you choose to connect your Google account, Faye requests read-only access to your Gmail and Google Drive (the gmail.readonly and drive.readonly scopes). We use this access for a single purpose: to find and import the documents you ask Faye to import, such as engagement letters, purchase contracts and prior appraisals, into your workspace, where they are treated exactly like a file you upload yourself.

Limited Use. Faye’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Not for training. We do not use data obtained through Gmail or Drive to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
No human reading of your Gmail or Drive data except as needed with your permission for support, for security, or to comply with the law.
You are in control. You grant this access with explicit, recorded consent before any read occurs, and you can disconnect at any time in Settings › Connections. On disconnect we revoke the Google grant and delete the stored tokens and any documents Faye fetched on your behalf that you have not kept in your workspace.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage), Vercel (web delivery), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (analytics infrastructure), and Anthropic / OpenAI (AI processing). Each receives only what its function requires.

Retention and deletion

Your content stays for the life of your account and is deletable by you in-product where deletion controls exist. To delete your account and its data, email akhil@fractalshare.com. We delete account content promptly, retain billing records as required for tax and accounting, and purge backups on their rotation schedule.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion at any time by emailing akhil@fractalshare.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA and California), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor access, portability, correction, and deletion requests for all users regardless of location.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

Children

Faye is a professional tool and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

We will post updates to this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email.
